Kicking the month off with a SUPER easy app to throw in a BOWL for your guests. (get it?) This one was inspired by a holiday TikTok, I made some revisions based on what I had to work with in my fridge, and it’s absolutely going into my little recipe book for quick appetizer rotation. If you have 30 minutes, a puff pastry sheet, and a pack of prosciutto in the fridge, you got an elevated app ready to go!
Flaky, salty, sweet…the divine trio.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- ~2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Honey (a light drizzle, plus more for finishing)
- About ¼ cup shredded cheese (use what you love)
- 1 pack prosciutto
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet.
- Smear the Dijon evenly across the surface
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese, then layer on the prosciutto.
- Drizzle with honey then fold the pastry in half, press gently, and slice into about 12 strips.
- Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a little more cheese on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, until golden, flaky, and crisp at the edges.
- Finish with another quick drizzle of honey while warm.
I told you it was easy! Happy baking!
