A Top Tier Appetizer – Spinach Artichoke Dip

There’s something about spinach artichoke dip that just does something to me. It’s the first thing I order every time at restaurants, no matter how many times I tell myself I’ll try something new. Creamy, gooey, and always hits every time.

This is my quick-fix version if you’re hosting for the holidays and need an easy impressive recipe to throw together. No complicated steps, just a solid, comforting appetizer that gets the people going.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz alfredo sauce
  • 4 cups frozen chopped spinach, warmed
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella, divided in half
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ can of quartered artichokes, roughly chopped
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Warm the frozen spinach for about 1 minute.
  2. In a large bowl, mix spinach, cream cheese, alfredo sauce, 1 cup of the mozzarella, parmesan, artichokes, and season to taste.
  3. Spread into a baking dish or cast iron skillet.
  4. Top with remaining mozzarella.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes, until bubbly and browned on top.

How I Serve It

Tortilla chips or crostini are a must. If you’re feeling fancy, add a small bowl of pico de gallo on the side, the fresh bite with the creamy dip is elite.

This is one of those recipes you keep in your back pocket all season long. Holidays, January get-togethers, random weeknights when you want something cozy — it always fits.

If you make one appetizer this month, make this one.
