This Teriyaki Beef Bowl feels like takeout without the overcharge and almost as minimal effort.
Inspired by a Pad Kra Pao recipe, it’s savory, saucy, and a touch spicy. AND a great way to get your greens in, I use an entire bag of spinach! Just call me Popeye.
I love this recipe because its one -pot and it hits every single time. We’ve had it with fluffy rice, flat noodles, and even just a bowl and a spoon. Top it with a fried egg and thank me later!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 bag of spinach
- ½ bag fresh green beans, trimmed & chopped
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
- 3–4 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
- ½ cup beef broth
- Salt & pepper to taste
How to make it:
- In a large skillet or wok, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the chopped shallot and cook until softened and fragrant.
- Pour in the oyster sauce, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, and beef broth. Keep stirring so everyone gets nice and acquainted.
- Toss in the green beans and cook for a few minutes until they’re tender but still have a little snap.
- Give the spinach a rough chop and then pour into pan, stir until wilted.
- Taste and adjust with extra sriracha, soy, or salt if needed.
- Serve over steamed rice, toss with wide noodles, or scoop straight into a bowl. Top with a fried egg and chili crisp oil if you’re feeling fancy!
That’s it! Happy cooking!
