Simply Dough-licious Apple Dumplings

This morning, I asked my boys what’s the flavor of the day for my Sunday bake and got one word: Apples! I consulted my saved recipe library (thanks Instagram) and immediately found this recipe I’ve had saved for months – Fireball Whiskey Apple Dumplings. Ah, memories…Fireball and I go way back.

However, not only is it Sunday so no liquor stores were open to get the whiskey, like I said, Fireball and I go way back and I wasn’t TOO heartbroken at the absence of this ingredient. So I decided to skip the whiskey and instead got a little crazy with the cinnamon and added clove spice. Still produced an amazing result!

The gold is in the simplicity of this recipe- similar to one of my previous super easy bakes: cast iron peach cobbler. Both recipes give you all the vibes of a full-fledged pie a la mode with way less fuss. And you’re not married to apples! Switch them out for another fruit like peaches, or even strawberries.
