I like to claim myself the chaotic Loaf Queen when it comes to whipping up a quick and easy dessert with minimal ingredients on hand. Why loaf, you ask? Because in the dessert world, I feel like loaves are the unsung heroes—easy, unpretentious, and secretly plotting to overthrow the cake brigade. I was definitely in the mood to make some sort of gingerbread dessert (NOT cookies), and my mind went straight to a loaf.
5-10 minutes to prep and less than an hour in the oven and you got the perfect last minute holiday bake! To crown my creation, I went with a combined sprinkle of powdered sugar and some red edible glitter leftover from Valentine’s Day. Slightly spiced and perfectly sweet, I’d give this holiday recipe two candy canes up!
