“And in the morning? I’m making waffles focaccia!” I woke up today with an intense craving for focaccia for breakfast, but not our usual cheesy savory recipes. This time, I wanted it on the sweet side. Think – cinnamon roll flatbread.
I found this delicious recipe from food blogger My Colombian Recipes and the baker actually made a yummy caramel sauce to go with hers. I decided to make a 3 ingredient creamy glaze icing instead. DROOL. Focaccia is my favorite bread to make, savory or sweet, because it’s so easy and has so much room for creativity which I love! And you can add as many toppings as your heart desires- In fact, I demand that you do. Happy baking!
